Research Use & Laboratory Safety

The permitted purpose, purchaser qualifications, handling expectations, and prohibited uses that apply to every Pureform material.

This working policy supports transparent research commerce but does not replace legal advice. Pureform will reconcile the published version with its legal entity, jurisdiction, processor, fulfillment practices, and applicable law before launch.

1. Permitted research purpose

Every Pureform product is supplied exclusively for legitimate, controlled in-vitro laboratory research by qualified persons or authorized institutions. Materials may be acquired only for work conducted with appropriate facilities, training, procedures, records, and oversight.

2. Prohibited uses

Products must not be consumed, ingested, injected, inhaled, implanted, administered, applied to the body, or used in humans or animals. They are not offered for in-vivo, clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, preventative, performance, cosmetic, food, household, drug, supplement, or medical-device use.

  • Pureform does not provide dosing, administration, treatment, or medical-use guidance.
  • Requests indicating a prohibited use may result in refusal or cancellation of service.

3. Regulatory status and site statements

Unless a listing expressly and lawfully states otherwise, Pureform products have not been evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for safety or efficacy. Website statements concern catalog identity, measured lot characteristics, logistics, or general laboratory-reference information only; they are not medical, veterinary, legal, regulatory, or professional advice.

4. Purchaser eligibility

By ordering, the purchaser represents that they are at least 21 years old, have legal capacity, are qualified or authorized to acquire research materials, and are acting for a legitimate laboratory purpose. Products may not be resold, relabeled, advertised, or distributed in a way that hides or misrepresents identity, condition, source, restrictions, or intended purpose.

5. Purchaser responsibility

The purchaser must determine whether acquisition, possession, transport, handling, storage, research, transfer, and disposal are lawful and permitted by any employer, institution, funding source, review body, or governing authority. Order acceptance is not a legal determination for the purchaser’s circumstances.

6. Handling and storage

Treat every product as a potentially hazardous research material. Use trained personnel, appropriate facilities, personal protective equipment, exposure controls, labeling, restricted access, incident procedures, and disposal practices suitable for the material and protocol. Keep materials away from children, patients, animals, food, medication, and untrained persons.

7. Certificates and specifications

An active COA or specification is tied to the identified item or lot and reports the stated analysis at the time performed. It does not establish safety, efficacy, regulatory approval, fitness for another lot, or suitability for human, animal, clinical, or otherwise prohibited use.

8. Order review and misuse

Pureform may decline, limit, hold, or cancel an order when permitted by law, including where information is incomplete, inventory is unavailable, verification is required, fraud is suspected, or a prohibited use or policy violation is reasonably indicated.
